The grapes from each vineyard underwent separate vinification and aging processes for 8 months, after which the final blend was determined, and the wine was returned to French oak barrels to age for another 7 months. Deep purple hue, aromas of ripe plum - cassis, violets, mint, and cigar box. The finish is long and balanced. Full-bodied and rich, the wine can be enjoyed today, but will continue to develop in the bottle in the years to come. Pair with roast lamb shank, goose confit and grilled sirloin.
