The Windmill Project from Jerusalem Vineyard Wineries pays homage to the historic Montefiore Windmill in Yemin Moshe, home to the winery’s tasting room.
Winemaker Lior Lacser, who studied in France and was at the helm of Carmel Winery for 15 years, embarked on this project in order to showcase the extent of Israel’s viticulture, culminating in the finest examples of winemaking. With a focus on the vineyards and the grapes they produce, the line is designed to represent the best of their kind.
